A good nail tech booking policy is short, specific, and accepted by the client before they book. Copy the template below, adjust the numbers, and paste it into your booking page.
Booking policy template
Deposits — A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to book. It goes toward your total.
Rescheduling & cancellations — Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule. Late cancellations forfeit the deposit.
Late arrivals — There is a 10-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, your service may be shortened or rescheduled and the deposit kept.
No-shows — No-shows forfeit the deposit and must prepay in full to book again.
Guests — Please come alone. No extra guests or children, as this is a home studio.
Arrive ready — Come with bare nails or book a soak-off add-on.
Fixes — Free fixes within 3 days for lifting or breaks caused by product. Not for damage from picking or trauma.
Payment — Remaining balance due at the appointment via Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Cash, Chime or cash.
Make the policy work for you
- Put it where clients must accept it. In Bekbook, your booking policy is shown before checkout and clients agree to it to confirm.
- Back it up with deposits and automatic reminders.
- For a home studio, consider approving each booking request manually.
