It's the maximum time since the last appointment that still counts as a fill — often 2–3 weeks — and sometimes a minimum percentage of lashes remaining, such as 40–50%. Outside of it, the client books a full set.

Do lash techs do foreign fills?

Some do and charge an extra fee; others require a removal and a new full set. State your rule clearly in your policy.

A lash booking policy needs one thing nail policies don’t: a clear fill window. Without it, clients book a fill when they really need a full set, and your schedule runs late.

Deposits — A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and goes toward your service.

Fill window — Fills are within 3 weeks of your last appointment with at least 40% of lashes remaining. Otherwise, please book a full set.

Foreign fills — Lashes done by another artist require a removal and new full set.

Arrive lash-clean — No mascara or eye makeup. A cleansing fee may apply.

Late arrivals — After 15 minutes, the service may be shortened or rescheduled and the deposit kept.

No-shows & late cancellations — Less than 24 hours’ notice forfeits the deposit.

Allergies — Tell me about any sensitivities before your appointment.
